Labor Department Provides Additional Guidance on Paid Sick, Family and Medical Leave

Today, the Wage and Hour Division (WHD) of the U.S. Labor Department released additional guidance on the provisions included in the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA).The FFCRA requires certain employers to provide their employees with paid sick leave or expanded family and medical leave for specified reasons related to COVID-19. The new law is effective April 1 through December 31, 2020.
